Location:  Northwestern Australia

Environment:  Found in sheltered bays.

Climate:  Temperate

Availability:  Not common in the aquarium trade.

Physical Characteristics:  Grows to 8"(22.0 cm),  Coronet has 5 sharp spines.  Spines are well developed.  Double sharp cheek spines; double spine below eye; prominent, sharp eye spine;  body often has a net-like pattern of brown markings; snout with fine stripes; spines with a brown band towards their tip.   Color varies from either white, orange or yellow with light patches
